But a series of coincidences just really drove this thing to the state it's in right now. Chinese New Years making it spread further than it should, Chinese govt fucking hushing warnings instead of resolving it, quarantine being too lax and even letting 1-2 people slip by, Korean cult stopping investigations amidst people literally dying because of doing the same thing. It's kinda ridiculous, but this is more of a 2 strikes situation imo. I don't see a big event like this happening soon.
