They are humans just like anyone else. And many of them loooove consuming movies and games. They do watch movies and buy games. But the reality is that they usually do NOT support the crap that they whine about.
And the sad reality is that the poor saps that usually cry on Twitter and social medias about muh diversity, muh feminism and other useless shit are usually poor fucks who aren't going to support/are supporting the shit they cry about. Which is why the idiots who usually bow down to those morons usually go down in flames either in sales/ratings or other easily verified metrics. Not always, but usually.
