That is, without preset animations, magically teleporting items, or needing to cancel the animation of whatever else you might be doing. By the time it was figured out, the new direction of the series was so poorly received (it was shaping up to be a modern-day AssCreed) that they just scrapped most of the assets. Later runs of OoT cartridges, and any port of OoT, from the GC one onward, have had the non-chanting version of the Fire Temple theme. Why Nintendo changed it? Afterall, at the time it was just "Playstation." There were no 2, 3, 4 to differentiate it from. First time I remember anyone swapping over to "PS1" was with after the release of the PS2, with the release of the PS One, which was more or less the slim version if you will. I think it also had an attachable screen but I might be misremembering.
