So black people don't either. I can show you a video of a Ethiopian showing his peoples food to a Haitian. It's just something racist like to say. I don't think they know it's racist though. Sorry no race of people are monolith. All people have some sort of culture. Race isn't a thing that decides your culture either.

White culture is a myriad of subcultures; i.e. country boys, metal heads, yuppies, etc.

There is nothing stopping someone that isn't white from being those things.

man there are some beautiful ethiopian girls at my work. never get a chance to talk to them cause they're always surrounded by their ethiopian brethren. it would feel kind of weird to have an asian guy just butt in their conversation.

White culture is a mix of European cultures having little to nothing in common except for a shared continent and skin color. "White" is more of a social construct that was created to inflate numbers.

Black is a name created for African slaves/descendants when less acceptable epithets became a problem. Went from Africans to slaves, Gers, Groes, Colored, Afro, African, African-American, Black... and none of which was actually chosen by the aforementioned people, haha.

My point is the two names have different origins and reasons for existing. If you can't take historical context into consideration, your disingenuous ass isn't worth engaging lol.

It's not a fair generalization, no. There's a subset of white people with no culture, sure, but that's a small group.

There's a pic of a family wearing snuggies, and toting ipads and starbucks. The baby has a tiny ipad and starbucks sippy cup. Trying to find it.

There was this popular 90s cooking/homemaking show with a woman like a young Martha Stewart reject. She made a cake entirely out of premade products you could get at a drugstore. Just looking at it would give you diabetes and burn out your tastebuds.

So, like, that weird hollywood subset, sure. But it's unfair to white people as a whole.

i mean, there are racists posts in this topic that would not get a pass about any other race, but do about white people because "they deserve it". i realize most of them are probably jokes, but it's still kinda messed up if ya ask me.

It's a very complex issue. As a person of color, I'm conflicted. I have white friends but I also know there are white people out there that would do me harm. Extremist groups are on the rise in every country and the US leader turning a blind eye to blatant hate and the suffering of non-white Americans.

I understand that a single individual does not represent an entire people. I have lived my entire life in the shadow of the white man. I don't hold any hate towards whites but I know not everyone can be trusted.

I think it's good that we have discussions like this on an open forum. It makes it a bit easier to understand one another, if only the slightest bit.
