the Sophie one doesn't make sense...So...did she have the substance tested before or after? are they trying to say she did it before, knew what was in it and then when she was given it at a later date she knew what was in it so she didn't OD?....they didn't finish that one i think. the rest make some sense.

because everybody isn't you. i have no desire to try LSD, probably never will, but i also understand that if responsible, people can and have tried it out of curiosity or whatever. the world isn't as black and white as you seem to think it is, Duncan...Things like this are necessary. You basically sound like a republican who preaches abstinence only education. People will be curious. people will still have sex...education is key to help them make the right decisions when they do get curious.

All of these are things people could have done to prevent or minimize harm, but clearly didn't do. So she didn't have it tested, didn't know what it actually was, and it was obvious laced with something more harmful than regular old LSD.

I find this advertising campaign interesting but it'll ultimately fall on deaf ears. You can tell people until you're blue in the face "Hey, be careful out there." They just think it'll never happen to them and they won't take preventative measures until it actually does (and by then it's often already too late).

Edit: Actually, I'm unsure of this now after going back and re-reading them. I'm not sure if all these people actually died because they did the opposite of what is stated here or were careless, or if they all in fact lived because they acted responsibly. Is it a warning or a demonstration? >_>

Sex and childbirth have important elements to society, and if done correctly sex as a recreational tool harms no one. Drugs on the other hand only exist to harm. They have no other purpose. They're poison. The same is true about guns. Both should be banned.

What's the difference Duncan? Both are just substances. Some are legal and some arent - doesnt change the fact that I can get drunk off vanilla extract or OD on Tylenol. Will you be signing a petition to ban vanilla extract? What about listerine?

and this is why EDUCATION is a good thing, not a bad thing...why is that so difficult for you to understand? Issues like that come from a lack of knowledge and a lack of understanding. EDUCATION IS KEY. Educate them so even if they use it, they have the knowledge to do so responsibly...Again, a flat out "JUST DON'T DO IT OR YOU WILL DIE!" is not a proven strategy. we've used that for years. it doesn't work. its why the Truth cigarette commercials talked about what was in cigs, and what they did to your body. its why they showed people with deformities and blackened lungs...to EDUCATE people on the reality. jfc this can't be that hard for you to comprehend...
