Which franchise had the better comeback/revival of this decade?


Regardless how you feel about either one, its safe to say both SW and DBZ are more popular now than theyve been in a long time thanks to the new stream of content (whether it be movies, shows, video games, etc.) both have received through out the better part of this decade.

Super started off poorly but has since been all right. I think the opposite might have happened with the sequel trilogy.

DBZ has never been good, IMO, and I like DBS even less.

DBS is a definite downgrade from Z, but was still enjoyable even with a number of bad decisions (and awful repeated arcs early on)

But even just comparing the theatrical films, Super did better. I mean they both resurrected the evil Emperor even.

But they brought back concepts people liked and repurposed them like Broly giving something new from the old and creating a new enjoyable version of the character.

And seeing all those people around the globe watching the finale was great.

I like the new Dragon Ball stuff less than the new Star Wars stuff.

The only bad things about DBS were the first 2 movie retelling arcs

Meanwhile the only good thing about recent SW that I can even think of is that Jedi Fallen Order game.
