Ive lived here my whole life aside from college. Hurricanes are a non-issue. Most of the time its just a bunch of people panicking and buying all the god damn milk and bread. My neighborhood flooded, we were without power for about two weeks, and we couldn't return home until the water finally receded. It was pretty awful, all things considered. We might get a bad hurricane this far inland maybe once every 15 years.
