So I turned the system all the way off(Full Shutdown) then plugged the controller in and turned the system on via the controller and let them sit together through the whole usual boot process. Couldn't tell you what causes it. Hasn't been a real problem for me because I have a wired PDP controller. You keep fucking with it eventually it'll work. Yeah they fucked up the engineering of that system 100% but they also replaced them all free of charge. I went through 2 myself and it was no more hassle than packing up the system and waiting a week for a new one.
