I don't mean an adult who was a child prodigy, but it really feels like whenever a child prodigy-type character is in a movie it's little more than a gimmick. See: Fant4stic, The Book of Henry, The Predator.

I've seen too much Tumblr Bullshit, and thought this was over some stupid "equality" [when it's really not] bullshit, when in fact it's over a semi-legitimate concern about character development that is easily out played by two words:
"Star Wars".
