Nother report from your friendly neighborhood one pot user!!

I have made quite a few things using it, but the soups are the most amazing. My goto for a quick soup (I love soups) is just sauteed onions + mushrooms (4 crimini sliced + onions + a few sliced up frozen red bell pepper bits), I then add beef or chicken broth depending on my mood.....and brocolli. I pressure cook it for 1 minute (then let it slowly release pressure for 5) and the whole thing takes less then 10 minutes to add. I add wontons (Chicken or pork or beef whatever I feel like) for a yummy quick and warm meal (Especially with some bread) on a cold winters night.

But....today I cut up a chuck roast into large chunks (1 1/2 pounds into about 10 fairly large cube chunks). I browned them, then sauteed the norm (onions/mushrooms/bell peppers), added the broth but this time 1/2 jar of Prego garlic + herbs pasta sauce as well.

I pressure cooked it for 25 minutes, then let it release steam for 10. Opened it, added carrots and brocolli to it), resealed and pressure cooked it for another 2 minutes (and let it release for 5.

Veggies were perfect and the flavor was deep and delicious, while the meat fell apart with a spoon. I added some left over rigatonni that I didn't use for pasta the other night which just warmed up in the soup (didn't need to cook it).

Super flavorful, and fast. Highly recommend getting one, especially if you can find it on sale. You could even travel with one if you had a power suppy, or use it in a hotel etc. They are not heavy and easy to clean.

I especially love that I can sautee downstairs now, so I never have to go up to the shared kitchen anymore.

Anyway, this is the hermit chef signing off:)

That's cool, especially not having to share the kitchen, glad to hear you're enjoying it.

Lol, no cooking show. Maybe someday I'll make a youtube video. Wish I had made video back when I cooked all the time. I don't remember most of my recipes anymore.

Yeah, although my roomates have been gone a week, and i'm guessing they are going to be gone through T-day and maybe through next weekend. I always have to listen to my TV with headphones on, but not this week!!

I could use the kitchen as well (they just got married so I don't like going up there so they can have privacy), but I'm used to using my one pot at this point.

Forgot how nice it is to play a video game or watch a show without head phones!!
