I am. The only time I get a holiday off is when the place I'm assigned to happens to be closed for that holiday. I'm happy about working on Thanksgiving though. I'm off at 230 pm. So I get to be home in time to have dinner with the family and I get holiday pay.

My workplace requires everyone nornally scheduled on Thursdays to come in on Thanksgiving. Under normal circumstances, that would include me. But they did a raffle where the winner would be allowed to use PTO to take Thanksgiving or Christmas off. I won, and I already have the day that Christmas is on this year off normally, so I used it for Thanksgiving.

not sure. I start a new job soon. could be this week. or next week. I still haven't found out when my first day is. but I still need to go in one more time to finish some paperwork after they process my drug test.

I work day prep at a restaurant. We have to be in at 5AM, but that usually means we get finished at 9AM.
