Its almost like theyve made these last few seasons bad on purpose by milking one note jokes and premises to absolute death.

Is ANYONE on Earth still laughing at Tegridy Weed? Anyone at all? It was worthy of being a one episode plot and its been a continuous story for like two full seasons. I forgot what the original gag even was that got this started.

Never in my life have I watched South Park passively while on my phone until now, I cant remember the last time I actually laughed. The episodes just kinda...happen now.

Honestly, it shouldn't of made it out of the 90s. That's when it had culture significance. Now it's just old. Simpsons is the same.

The gag is that Randy is becoming a drug kingpin. It's pretty interesting but I'm more interested in seeing how they resolve this plot line without Randy dying or people forgetting his various murders that obviously connects to him lol

It still does, that's why it still has high ratings and a ton of people still watch it.

i've seen every episode from like the first 11 season and not like 10 or so episodes beyond that

i can't believe it was still running

the last 2 season i watched clearly showed a decline and they've had 12 seasons beyond those

For nearly 20 seasons it was nothing but net and aging like wine, but im objective enough to take my fanboy glasses off and know when its clearly gone downhill and in a very bad direction creatively.

I respect them for TRYING a continuous storyline for one season, but it failed and they shouldve left it at that. Unless you watch every single episode, youll have no Goddamn idea whats going on. Before you could pick it up again any time and laugh your ass off.

I mean - I last watched it in I think 2017 (?) and the show's only gotten WAY better with time.
Honestly whatever season it was with SoDoSoPa was like peak. You're crazy if you don't think the show got way funnier with time. It's like the opposite of what you'd expect from a tv show with such a long run

When a show is running for 20+ seasons you must do something different. If you maintain the same formula people lose interest. It's your viewpoint, which is fine, but a lot of people disagree. I've watched it since day one, and still keep up with every season, there's enough appeal for me to keep watching it.

I think the "Simpsons did it" episode highlighted the fact that after so many years it's really difficult to keep making a single episode focused on a single thing and keep it fresh week after week.

I think the previous two seasons before this one have been weak, not bad, but not as strong, but i've been loving this season.

The first few seasons of the show were not that funny in retrospect - and characters changed, evolved, and writers shifted focus onto different characters. Like think about how much more effort's been put into Randy versus the first few seasons?
It's not at all comparable to The Simpsons or Family Guy, which really remained stale and only got worse and became lower effort with time.

These last few seasons have been pretty lackluster. I think the season after the one PC Principal debuted is when it started to go downhill fast for me. Of course, there are still excellent episodes here and there, like the recent China one >_>

South Park seasons 1-11 is one of my favorite shows but it's gone downhill ever since. I haven't watched too many episodes of the last few seasons but I haven't been impressed from what I've seen.

I'm a fan of Randy, but I'm ready for the Tegridy arc to end. Nothing will top Randy knocking out vapers left and right, but they can keep trying.

I'm a little behind on South Park, but my wife and I just watched S22 episode 2, I think, and I couldn't stop laughing at it. Randy has become the star of south park in my opinion.

Randy got pardoned when The Mexican Joker showed up in the middle of his hearing.

This season has been a marked improvement over the last few, even with the show now being called Tegridy Farm.

I have a feeling that this "Tegridy Farms" season will end on some sort of parody of a drug-related TV show or movie.

Past 5ish seasons were hit/miss but this season has been funny imo.

Love Randy though.
