it's funny, because when democracy in this country does eventually buckle and fade, it won't be under a "socialist" administration. it's going to be under a republican administration, abusing the levers of government to cover up its own corruption, and using its propaganda outlet at fox news to conjure a false reality for its supporters that they're protecting the country, not destroying it... not unlike what's happening now

Hey man, I'm gonna vote Bernie because as awful as he is, he does have the best climate plan and that is the only issue that keeps me up at night. So it's not like I'm gonna disagree that the Republican party is a joke. It's a catastrophic joke.

About the only good thing is that they still care about enforcing a border. But they've since stopped being actual conservatives. Running up the deficit like there's infinite money pouring out of the federal reserve.

Basically this, speaking as a person that wouldnt have any problem with Trump being impeached. No Republican besides my favorite Congressman Justin Amash would vote for it. I'm all for transparency but it doesn't have to be immediate, unconditional transparency. There's a lot of sensitive information and it's best that the inquiry decides when to release what. Otherwise it's like publishing in the paper that you know where the criminal is hiding the evidence. Anybody asking for transparency right now is just trying to obstruct. Good point. The impeachment process may be a waste of time but the investigation is not a waste of time. It's important that people see (at least those who aren't completely blind) that Trump abused his position... again and again, every time he does it, and he should be at least called out on it.
