At what point do we just stop calling it a cryptocurrency? No one with any amount of intelligence would use a currency that could feasibly fluctuate in value by 10% on a single day.

Plenty people use it as currency though. Drug dealers, terrorists, money launderers, child pornographers, etc.

Plenty people use it as currency though. Drug dealers, terrorists, money launderers, child pornographers, etc.


This. For the average Joe, there's really no real reason to use it as a currency. Most people who do buy cryptocurrency do it as an investment. It's basically like stocks and bonds, only more volatile.
