-Cipher- 09/19/19 2:33:53 PM #11:	from what I've played so far like all the trailers have shown it's pretty much exactly like the original just with a reskin the sword and shield no longer take up item inventory slots, they are locked to B and R respectively honestly the only reason to play this is for the music it also sucks that you have to use the analog stick and you can't use the directional buttons to move haven't gotten them yet but I'm pretty sure the pegasus boots will be assigned to the L button since it plays so much like albw Seashells are in the game, and while the entire overworld is "seamless", there is blur around the edges of the screen that acts to emulate the shifting screen of the original, so if you cut some grass and let the blur cover the grass it will regenerate like you moved to another screen and then went back Rupees are not displayed on the HUD which is an inconvenience Shield moblin combat is a little more involved now, you have to either hit them from behind or deflect an attack and hit them to do damage you can jump and fall on goombas, but you'll take damage if you try to squash them on a ladder <cite>-Cipher- posted [p:927664297] in Link's Awa... I had it as a kid but I never beat it. I plan to put my adult brain to work and finally figure out all the stuff I got stuck on. There was one piece of heart that took me forever to find. I also got stuck on the trading game because I couldn't find the fisherman. I had the same issue in both cases. I struggled with the first form of the final boss because I couldn't figure out how to hurt it. I tried the correct item multiple times but I must have been missing with it. You can still damage it with the sword but it takes forever. Most of the time you won't damage it but like 1% of the time or less and it will take a hit. Takes like at least an hour though -_- Ruined a few save files from fucking around with the screen skip glitch and ending up with the game saving while I was stuck in a wall or in a hole-falling endless loop lol, or at the 7th dungeon entrance with the tower not turned around yet and thus no door. I was stuck on that dream ocarina section because I didn't have the right item yet and kept getting rekt by those movement-tracking enemies. Got stuck in dungeon 2 because I couldn't figure out the clue and didn't know what enemy names were (they re-did that clue for the gbc version so it must have been an issue for a lot of people) and had trouble with the boss. The pillar puzzle in dungeon 7 frustrated me a lot. I found a workaround glitch for it on a second play through to avoid having to do it again >_>, and the 7th boss gave me such a hard time that I ragequit the dungeon, went to dungeon 8 and finished them in reverse order because the fire rod kills the 7th boss in 3 hits (I didn't know about arrowbombs then) Nostalgia even for the parts that annoyed me, lol --- Place-holder sig because new phone and old sigs not saved :/ <cite>Machete posted [p:927666954] in Link's Awa...
