I see him on occasion when I play online. I always see Luigi, yoshi and Toad though. ALWAYS

I use either Link or Dry Bowser myself. I'm not very good as I can't seem to master the constant slide boost in the game like some people can do

I legit always pick Mario in pretty much any game he's available (he's my main in smash, but I use other characters as well).

What's wrong with Mario? In mk7/8 you can pick kart parts, so the characters you choose don't make that much of a difference iirc

Its been awhile since I've played, but I thought in the newer games you could change weight by changing what kart you're in (like you change the body of the kart).

Idk about all games. I know certain games were made so big characters could only use big karts, the medium characters could use medium and big carts, and the small characters could use all the karts...

I never had a problem placing podium. But for the issues I mentioned, I stopped playing it since it was on the Wii.

I dont care about the rubberbanding much, though I feel like I havent seen it lately. I remember being super far ahead sometimes with no chance of anyone catching up. I do wish the items were actually random, though. I get tired of fucking bananas because Im in first. I understand that I can leave them behind to stop others from catching up, but still...

Yeah, maybe that's what it is

But the new games might be different. It has multiple stats that all change based on the kart. I cant be sure weight of the character works the same in the newer games as I dont really check...

Weight is a factor in the MK8/deluxe version. Choosing a different part can sometimes affect all stats, even if it's just the wheels
