Got to level 5 with the gf but I have work in the AM. Pretty shitty how they took out vertical splitscreen for no apparent reason. Also the framerate does drop a lot in splitscreen, mainly when someone is in a menu. Hope they get a patch going asap

To clarify people found out that he mentioned the lost USB stick on a podcast with a magician who dresses like a dragon. Apparently it was a teen girl doing magic tricks with her vagina.

There was also the time he blatantly lied to a games journalist that he won the name Gearbox in a poker game against Gabe Newell and they had to call their company Valve.

Third time Ive mentioned it ITT but I already said Im going to buy the game just at a discounted price a year from now when all the DLC is released. Borderlands 3 is not going to flop. Itll probably be a solid game all around.

I just dont like Randy at all.

- Getting into some kind of fight (a punch or a hard push or something when Randy was drunk) with ClapTrap's voice actor because the VA wanted more pay (and then replaced the VA).
- Will never admit Aliens: Colonial Marines was a bad game or that he lied about it when he told many bold faced lies about the game before release.
- Said BL3 had no microtransactions at a press conference, and started attacking a game website for noting that there are skin microtransactions in the game. Randy demanded an apology for the website trying to "fuck him."
- Seemingly created a porn subreddit for Battleborn and pretended that it occurred the same way Overwatch porn did.
- Recently claimed a VA turned down a role to be in BL3, but the VA said he was never contacted about the game.

And that's just what I can think of off the top of my head.

You did something wrong. I was using action skills at level 2 without issue.

I've spent all 3 points but the bottom middle of the screen was still saying 'tab to spend skill points' or whatever. it didn't switch to an action skill cooldown bar like in the first games

oh I figured it out. I only had one action skill ability set, I guess you have to have both set to make it usable

Its not running well for me but I figured thats because one of my RAM sticks died so Im down to 8gb. I got an error at one point saying I was out of memory and a couple other random crashes

Well see when my memory gets here tomorrow if it runs better with 16

We had one main issue which was during a fight that happened after some dialogue early on; the game completely de-synced our instances and we had to reload the game. Other than that the menus are very laggy which is a bit of a pace killer but I haven't encountered anything else.

Remember that Randy physically abused Claptrap's old VA and straight up denied him coming back out of contempt and nothing else, tried to brush off Troy Baker being union and too expensive coming back to voice Rhys by saying some dumb shit like "Oh you said you weren't interested remember", and being petty enough to make a cheap shot about Claptrap's old VA in the Borderlands 2 DLC and name one of the villains in BL3 after Troy Baker.

That stuff left a bad taste in my mouth because it shows that stuff like the voice acting was done with the lowest common denominator in mind. I'll still get the game, but I'm in no rush.
