The interviewer then asked for confirmation on whether it was true that she carried wound dressing with her at all times. She replied, "Yeah, I've had a lot of stalkers show up to the house armed. So obviously he wouldn't want to track dirt over her carpet. The problem with being a crazy stalker is that, you know, you're crazy. A bunch of YouTubers have had issues with this sort of thing. Gavin Free of Rooster Teeth/the Slo-Mo Guys had some dude break into his house looking for him to kill him, because he thought he wasn't good enough for his girlfriend. "I try not to ever really say where I am the most, because since all my addresses are on the Internet, people tend to show up uninvited. Like you know, dudes that think we have an imaginary marriage." And yes! The people visiting YouTubers at their home is freaking crazy! It's happened to so many of them! It never even occurred to me that was a thing to do until I saw it mentioned on the Philip DeFranco show! He had a fan just walk straight into his office while he was recording (he's beefed up security since then). Apparently, the parents do this a lot for their kid and fans who think they have an actual friendship/relationship with the YouTuber! They legitimately do not understand the YouTuber is a persona and not the actual person and there is no relationship, other than entertainer and entertainee! And these people get mad when the YouTuber doesn't answer the door or call the police.
