I have felt like from the start that it's going to be damaging long term to the overall traffic and activity on CE. It's reducing a lot of content for both users with a lot of people blocked, and users who are blocked a lot.

It is completely unfair to block what content someone can see just because you don't like them.

Blocking what content someone gets to see just because you don't like them is completely unfair. If you don't want to see what they post, just ignore it. But you have no actual right to decide what they get to see; you have no right to control their browsing like that.

Yes, it is unfair and you know it. Unless you're an admin or mod, you shouldn't have any control of what people see on this site.

This is kind of what my point was also, it's removing content, and people who are blocked by a lot of people are only seeing parts of threads and conversations. It does discourage trolling and negative behavior, and as a result, we have TC's reaction here. Him posting on his main is now a fragmented experience with a lot of holes in a lot of threads.

I guess the question is if the change due to that behavior is justified, now restricting those users from seeing a lot of content as a result of being blocked by many users.

I'm just trying to see it from both sides. I have no one ignored and only likely have a small number of users that have me on block, so it has not effected my experience at all.
