The studio is also grappling with how to fit the very R-rated Deadpool into its PG-13-rated Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The goal is to find a way for the character to move seamlessly between Avengers spinoffs and bloody, profane stand-alone adventures.

Sounds like deadpool will be PG rated so the kids can also enjoy the films

I don't get why they're making such a big fucking deal out of this. All they have to do is have a scene in Avengers 15 or whatever where he casually walls on screen drinking a soda, and says to the audience:

"Oh, me? You thought I was gonna go with those guys? Ya know I'd love to, but this is a PG-13 flick and that doesn't exactly mesh with my uh, way of dealing with things. So you guys enjoy the movie, I'll be over here watching too. Maybe I'll jump in at the last minute or something, who knows?"

And then maybe throw him in again during the last big fight using just katanas or something.

It is weird how Deadpool can seamlessly switch between kids comics and mature comics, T-rated games and M-rated games, but apparently going between PG-13 movies and R-rated movies is difficult.

Disney is so protective with the family friendly MCU movies (all movies being pg rated) so its either:

A) Bite the bullet and have r rated deadpool single films but pg rated deadpool in any other MCU film

Or

B) just have pg rated deadpool all round

MCU movies already has guns and stabbings tho. They just oddly don't show blood.

PG and PG-13 are two different ratings. Stop using them interchangeably, even though your gimmick is to post false things as fact.

Disney worked hard to establish the MCU movies as Family Friendly for all ages

Deadpool is not, and since the deadpool movies already established that, adding it into the MCU is harder because youll be pissing off fans either way regardless

If only Disney had another banner which they used for more mature films.

Like maybe if they had a subsidiary whose name referred to the physical or intellectual measure by which the validity or merit of a concept can be tested; the touchstone of cinema. But as far as we know, Disney only makes films under the Disney label and no such subsidiary exists.

It would be funny if they went all in on an R Rated Deadpool franchise and whenever he does a crossover he's still doing r rated shit but it's censored enough to get it a pg13 rating.

Pretty simple.

For the post credit scene of the R rated Deadpool 3, some men in suits knock on Wade's door. They're inviting him to join the Avengers. He gets excited and says "fuck yeah!" or something else with "fuck" in it. The men in suits explain that the Avengers are a very public group and need to speak appropriately. Wade starts to object when they slide a comically large check across the table.

"Well fudge me."

Cut to black.

Now we know without a doubt if marvel did a deadpool movie it would be no where near as good as what fox did with it.

One positive movie series to come from Fox at least.

How in the fuck is that a struggle for a character that breaks the 4th wall? Just have him tell the audience he's on his best PG 13 behavior or whatever, easy.

MCU has people get killed in it all the time (Thanos' head gets cut off for Pete's sake) they just don't make it gory. They can just not have blood, gore and swearing in his appearances outside his own movies. I can even see a scene where he's about to kill someone and he stops, looks at the camera and says "Yyyou might wanna cut away for this."
