The best live action one is Andrew Garfield, since at least he has snarky quips, uses his scientific knowledge, and doesn't mope around forever about everything. I hated Tobey's portrayal w/ the constant pity party and the weird natural web shooters. Tom Holland has been....ok. Doesn't seem to have nearly as much of a personality as the other two. The problem is, Andrew Garfield made an effective Spider-Man, but an absolute shit Peter Parker. Conversely, Tobey Maguire pulls a pretty passable version of Peter from the early 1960s (because that's the only version of Spider-Man Raimi actually cares about, which is why he was so opposed to using Venom), but is much weaker as Spider-Man. Each is effectively playing half the role. Tom Holland isn't necessarily playing the role better than either, but he's doing a much better job of balancing the two sides than either ever did. Which in turn absolutely makes him the best version of the character so far. Especially when you realize that, to some degree, the MCU movies aren't really presenting the 616 version of the character at all, as much as the MCU is a sort of odd hybrid of 616 and Ultimate versions of most characters.
