I struggle with suicidal thoughts daily. I have since I was a child.

I had plans to give away all my things and kill myself on my birthday.

yea look, i'm not one to attack someone who is saying they're suicidal....but he seems to be doing this a lot. This isn't the first time I've seen a topic here where he said something similar. it really does seem like he's manipulating his audience so he gets a lot of "WE LOVE YOU BOOGIE!" comments, and maybe some more Patreon supporters. If this is legitimate i hope he gets help but it just doesn't seem that way given his history...

Hes joking and gets the attention.

Until one day he isnt and does it after he cried wolf for the 100th time and everyone stopped caring.

Then he will be another statistic or martyr and everyone will tell you how awful you are for not paying attention to his cries.

After seeing some DM 'leaks' from Boogie chatting with others, I went from being entirely indifferent on him to thinking he's a bad person, or at least a good person in a bad mental state who needs to get the fuck out of the public spotlight, get therapy to fix whatever issues he has that makes him act out looking for attention/praise from others, and probably stat out of the public spotlight.

I think Boogie is going about this the wrong way but... so are you.

just reading what many say about him here is enough.

he needs a good break from social media and youtube. get professional help like all who suffer from mental illness. aint gonna get better being told what to do on the internet. need pros to help counsel and organize your thoughts. simply too many inputs. you hear what you want to hear and dont consider other ways long story short.

i understand he cant take a break though because he loses his livelihood. its vicious torture cycle. internet is toxic af and that stands out more than the help+support he gets from there. many tune that stuff out for a reason.

all that negativity in social media and youtube is directed at him. you dont have to read the comments and tweet replies he gets but its all there. theres no anonymity to youtubers like him and his social media. he dont have the luxury to hide behind anonymity because of who he is. so these people dump everything they can on him. all the ugly, hate, disgusting things you can send to him. its the price letting anybody watching videos of your life- good bad ugly.

A lot of people, myself included, have had bad mental health issues and dealt with them more responsibly and also had less help and opportunities.

I'm ok with him being honest and vulnerable, but it does feel like it's devolved into something less cathartic and more irresponsible and indulgent.
