The last 3 episodes has been a 6 year old and a 13-or-30 year old woman competing for the MC's attention

This is really the nonsense that I don't want to see in any anime

If they'd doubled down on the twist set up and focused on having a story about a guy who's actually not the hero of a fantasy plot, that could have been really cool. Instead here we are, debating who is "best girl"

I understand the dislike for harem anime, i hate them also, but honestly Rise of the shield hero isn't too bad with it. It can be a little annoying when they do light stuff like it but it isn't a big point of the show. I read the manga and it gets better.

Ok, I'm still enjoying it, but the last 3 episodes have been almost a total wash. I could cut all this crap out of the show and it would be remarkably better.

Also the hero just picks up a slave like it is nothing... that is kind of messed up.

Also a while back I even made a topic about this random trope with a tiny girl in a sun dress and no shoes. 7 deadly sins had it too and was more creepy.

I'm ok with the slave thing. That actually makes for a compelling plot point. The hero is so jaded and distrusting that the only way he can protect himself is to bind a contract with a slave, but this clearly sits at odds with his own moral compass, so he makes life as good for her as he can.

But then again, I just watched an entire episode dedicated to making 6 year old a pretty dress. What the fuck.
