Because she would be the one doing the cheating, not you (assuming you're single). But if you had sex with her, regardless of whether you knew that she was dating another guy, would that be immoral on your part? Or does the responsibility fall solely on the one who's in a relationship?

Yes, it's immoral on the single guy's part. Anyone who says otherwise is doing mental gymnastics. How would you feel if some bro was like "I didn't do anything wrong, even though I fully knew she was with you. It's all her fault"?

*shrug* I'd be mad at the girl for cheating since she was the one who failed to uphold the commitment. She was the one who made the choice

It's one thing if you don't know and she tells you afterwards. Otherwise, you're just letting her take advantage of thirst culture lol.

If it were possible to do so without pissing off her bf, I'd tell her bf "yo your girl tried to sleep with me... not saying anything about her, just telling it like it is". But chances are he wouldn't believe you and would try to stick up for her.

Dudes gotta start putting their dignity before their dick. That said, she could easily find some other dude that would bang her if you don't.

Boyfriend? Nah. Married? Yeah.

I mean, if you wanna get technical, a girl could be with this guy for all of 3 days and call him her "boyfriend" but it legitimately means nothing.

If she lives with him, or been together for a while, it's a different story.

He'd have done me a favor by exposing an unfaithful partner. Well, not really a favor, but I don't fault him for it. She made herself available. It's her job to be faithful, not other men to keep her faithful.

Yea, its mostly her fault. She is in the relationship. I personally wouldnt fault the guy although i might be pissed.

Im not the type to fight a dude over a woman unless he blatantly tries to harm my girl.

Because once you two get done killing each other, she will find some other fool to fuck.

its shitty to cheat if hes trying to be a good boyfriend

not so bad if hes an asshole thats basically inviting to be cheated on
if you want loyalty in a relationship, you have to prove you deserve it throughout the relationship, you're not just entitled to it

I don't necessarily agree with this, but it's definitely the most common reason why women cheat, in my experience.

That is how things started with my ex. Not proud of it. But I think they were both kinda checked out from the relationship. Not saying that makes what I did okay. I felt really shitty about it for a long time. Still kinda do even years later.

She was the initiator. She knew I liked her, but I never planned on trying anything. But still I could have said no. But I didn't.

Yeah. Just think of it this way, the guy can't get hurt by something he doesn't know. Probably a shitty approach but should help you feel less like a dick. At least, that's how I handle it.

I guess when you break it down to it's most basic level you are knowingly doing something that could hurt another person and in a very broad sense that is "wrong". In a more practical sense though there are levels. Are you sleeping with your friend or brother's girlfriend? You're a piece of shit. Are you seducing a married coworker via a long term gameplan? You're kind of a scumbag. Are you hooking up with some random chick who you met at a club who says she has a boyfriend "but not tonight"? Ehh...she was going to cheat with someone that night so it might as well be you.

Morally it's wrong, but it also depends on how deeply involved they are. If the person you are interested in is financially dependent and engaged or married to the other person then it's definitely wrong to try and have sex with them and steal them away, but let's say he / she is casually seeing someone, or in a turbulent relationship(Of no real fault of their own though), then you're not a complete scumbag for going for it. Also, follow the golden rule when it comes to getting involved with anyone.... NEVER, EVER go after, or accept the advances of a SO who is involved with a good friend or family member. That is wrong as fuck and is incredibly destructive.
