so I know some queers and I was curiously peeking an eye into their community and I've noticed that there's a sounding support for communism, but why?

you never hear people talk about communism, except for a small few who actually know what they're getting themselves into, are directly involved with the party.

however, it seems that communism has increasingly become some hot trend among hipsters, queers and neckbeards.

what's so hot about it any way?

from what i have seen it appears that the supporters are like 50% ppl who dont fit into society and view communism as this one size fits all solution to all their problems, and then 50% ppl who are overwhelmed with the problems of the world and are advocating for some idealized Star Trek form of communism

People hate capitalism when they are the losers who it does not benefit, people who actually succeed and make a decent profit from their own business want less government interference. If your someone who actually gets your business or hobby off the ground and rack in shit tons of cash your going to favor capitalism.

If you failed at life, or got unlucky, or are a lazy shit then communism and socialism appeal to you due to the fact it puts everyone on a level playing field. The problem is that its eat the rich ideal eventually hits even the normal person who would not be seen as rich in normal society but since the people above them have been used up now they are seen as rich and they too are used up.

I wouldn't consider myself a socialist, but it's pretty clear that for all our economic strength, that power is being consolidated among fewer and fewer people. Also economic outcomes, particularly within the middle class, are getting worse and worse. That inequality only makes sense given current economic incentives. Those incentives need to change. Those levels of economic injustice aren't just a moral wrong it's a growing source of tension within the cohesiveness of a nation, and that tension is often relieved through reckless reactionary and populist political movements.
