Stuff you didn't really get to see in the trailer until you play it for yourself. I don't want to spoil it but some mechanics you just have to see for yourself. But if you don't have the time to... You can send enemies backwards and forwards in time, that goblin axeman? When he was younger he was in his prime with a spear, when he's older he's a mage who casts fire from the backlines! Status effects get stronger with time, cast that water spell on an enemy in the present and that shield will rust in the future. I already see some potential already. You've got your timed attacks from the mario games and the paper feeling along with the time consequences of the past present and future from chrono trigger. Game looks stylistically great to boot too.
