I also like how we don't get to see the actual work performed. I'm guessing because it would quickly turn sympathies back to the teacher.

i no rite, I really want to see the kid's work (if there even is any)

Someone needs to tell the mother "WTF is this" for not showing the full context of the turned-in assignment that would cause the teacher to even write that.

Tbqh I don't think seeing the quality of work would make me view this any differently

i used to teach a college english class

one time a student quoted Green Arrow from the CW tv show and didn't 1) cite it and 2) put it in quotes.

i circled the whole thing and wrote "NO"

Which doesn't actually really matter because of you said "double you tee eff" in front of a customer, they would probably appreciate that you chose to do so instead of saying "what the fuck"

It's far more trivial than it is unprofessional, unless your customers are people with serious issues.

Trivial or not, it IS unprofessional. Maybe not if your working at McDonalds but even still I would think management would frown on it. \_()_/

My elementary school teacher wrote DUH! on my paper once when I wrote Kona (or was it Hilo?) is on the west side of the island. My parents agreed with my teacher and were very upset with me, and TBH I felt that I deserved it too. I would call that unprofessional, but well deserved and trivial.

I just think that parents today shelter their kids too much, and it turns them into spoiled little brats.

I doubt speaking an acronym out loud would be frowned upon. Obviously it would be unprofessional for a mcdonald person to be like "what the fuck can I get for you today?" or something like that.

I knew someone who worked at a McDonalds and threw Chicken Nuggets in a woman's face when she was being rude

He wasn't fired either

But that was like a decade ago, I think in todays film everything age it would be put on Youtube and he'd be fired

Same tbh. As the customer I could care less for the most part. But as that workers boss/manager even if I heard "wtf can I get for you today?" I'd most definitely be taking them aside to discuss. Because, unprofessional.

I worked at a Dominos and I can't even remember how many things I and everyone else did including managers that should have resulted in firing >_>

That was also a decade ago and I agree it wouldn't turn out well today. It was always deserved though. I would swear and bellow at customers on the phone but only when they earned it. We are talking drunk college students mostly originally from the Boston area. They respect when you give their shit right back to them. I had one even give a $5 tip to the driver (that was a lot for a drunk college student ten years ago) after I screamed fuck you and many other things at him. As it turns out, after I reacted that way, his friends called him out for being an asshole to me and shamed him into tipping extra. I actually got applause from other employee. The most proper, professional, straight edge "company man" type manager I ever worked with there even was pushed to saying "Sir, SHUT UP!" to someone on the phone once.
