My parents agreed with my teacher and were very upset with me, and TBH I felt that I deserved it too. I would call that unprofessional, but well deserved and trivial. It was always deserved though. I would swear and bellow at customers on the phone but only when they earned it. We are talking drunk college students mostly originally from the Boston area. They respect when you give their shit right back to them. I had one even give a $5 tip to the driver (that was a lot for a drunk college student ten years ago) after I screamed fuck you and many other things at him. As it turns out, after I reacted that way, his friends called him out for being an asshole to me and shamed him into tipping extra. I actually got applause from other employee.
