And before you roll your eyes and make hyperbolic statements like comparing me to an anti-vaxxer, know I'm going to be profiting off the 4th industrial Revolution, it's in my interest to see 5G succeed. Yes, you absorb the energy at that wavelength as an infinitesimal amount of heat. The "energy" you're so concerned about is a factor of wavelength. Wavelengths longer than visible light literally don't have enough energy to strip electrons and ionize things.

That's walls, not human skin. Humans have much more water content (obviously), have tons of pores releasing sweat, and water absorbs Milimeter waves easily. It's not a cut and dry comparison to look at a goddamn cement wall and think humans will be just as fine exposed to 5G waves constantly over a period of time.

And yes, I'm aware of the equation of energy, that's exactly why I'm worried about the effects of 5G waves.

That's my problem, Rex isn't producing any science studies on the effects of prolonged exposure to millimeter waves. He's only regurgitating physics laws. I've worked in a medical lab with an optical physicist building some really cool stuff. Our stuff was harmless, and only used for a short period time and has to be go through expansive FDA testing before it could be used in the public. Milimeter waves are a few orders of magnitudes weaker than what we used, yes, but there are gonna be thousands, more than likely millions of them. Always on and always producing power. And is absorbed by water. There's going to be some kind of consequence (aside from the decimation of a few industries), nothing in life is free. But if NIH says otherwise, then cool.

Where did you get that energy relationship? Microwaves, despite their name, are typically around ~1mm or larger (3^-10m), and following the equation E = hc/, one photon of microwave radiation is 1.63x10^-24 Joules

What was your calculation to get 10^6J?

Last time I had this argument I found a study that tracked cancer rates in humans over the past few decades and it stayed constant. You would expect to see an increase if cell phones caused cancer, but there isn't. I can't find it again though. There was a study that found a correlation in rats but it was questionable at best.

And why are you focusing on magnitude? It has zero relation to an EM's energy and ability to ionize an atom. You're clearly refusing to understand it just like I knew you would.

My math was incorrect, but you're missing my point. Energy is inversely proportional to the wavelength. Millimeter waves are a thousandth of the power of microwaves. It's minuscule, yes, but 5G antennas are going to EVERYWHERE and are going to be on 24/7. This is a cause for a concern.
