I was fresh off of playing P4G and i was super hyped man, that fuckin sucked

At least the P5 delays allowed me to play P4 Arena, Dancing All Night, and Persona Q without any sense of haste.

But yeah, I remember Persona 5 getting its final delay because Atlus Japan felt some of the voice acting wasn't very Nippon enough. Cue the weird name pronunciations (which the voice actors WERE aware of, but were told to do anyway)

They already mentioned in October that Persona 6 was in development but obviously they didn't want to pull a P5 and announce it if there's nothing to show yet

I'm surprised it hasn't been announced already

the games usually came out in pairs
Persona 1 and 2 were ~3 years apart
Persona 3 and 4 came out a year away

They're probably just too busy milking 5 for all its worth now like they did for 4. They treated 4 as a huge cash cow prior to P5 coming out. It had 2 animes, 2 fighting games, a rerelease, a dancing game, some spinoffs, concerts, etc..

At the same time, I think they realize that they can't milk P5 forever, which is why P6 is already being started (P5 wasn't properly begun until after Catherine) and Persona 3 got a dancing game in addition to 5.

Ah man, a Persona 3 remake. That would probably be my favorite Persona ever

It's always so cute and hilarious to see the new fans brought in by P5 get so emotional over the Persona cycle. It's OK. Just relax. You look a lil silly. Find something else to do for a few years.
