I really dont care, as long as those beliefs dont show up in their work. Ill judge the work by its own qualities, not by what its creator says on twitter or is found guilty of doing.

Every year JK Rowling disappoints me more and more.
She's taken a book series I loved as a kid and used it to try and retroactively make herself look good. Everything else aside from that? Sure. I don't even intentionally look for political or moral views. It only bothers me if it's overwhelmingly obvious.

I don't go actively looking for creator's opinions in the first place. Even then though with the internet it is easy to see things you are not actively looking for. Like discussing how great Cerebus is, and the discussion veering into Sim's opinion on things because some people can't stay on topic. But even then his opinion don't change the fact Cerebus is an amazing comic series.

Well... It depends on what those beliefs are. If the creator turns out to be a truly toxic lump of shit, I wouldn't like knowing I've given them a penny in royalties (if it can be, y'know, avoided).
