If user A posts on a video game board of this site that he likes strict controls, and user B calls him a Stalinist (because Stalin was known to be one of the worst control freak politician in history), I'm not sure the message will get modded (which is a big wtf, that guy and a few of his friends are responsible for the death of over 30 million people).

If user A says he went to the native village in RDR2 to slaughter all the villagers, and user B calls him a conquistador lightly (the ones who conquered what is now latin America), I'm not sure the message will get modded (the Europeans are responsible for the death of 50 to 100 million natives in Central and South America, about 1/6 of the world population, the following century of the Age of Discovery).

lmao, have you ever seen someone on this site call another user a fucking conquistador? You're talking about this like it's a regular occurrence, but you made up two scenarios using terms I've rarely ever seen on this site.

This is probably one of the gray areas that won't be possible to exactly define the line. It'll depend on the context of the topic, the message, and the moderator to decide if the post needs to go or not. Assuming it was marked in the first place.

National Socialism (Nazi) is a political ideology that is not specific to WW2 Germany. WW2 Germany is notable for a place and time in which Nazis had control of a country but it is not the only case of National Socialism. The Golden Dawn, a modern day party in Greece are literal Mein Kampf-reading Nazis. Richard Spencer hasn't called himself a Nazi but if you look at his list of political ideologies they're virtually so similar to Hitler's that they could be in a primary election against each other.

He is also on record saying he wanted "peaceful" ethnic cleansing. If that ain't a Nazi I don't know what is.
