masterpug53 12/27/18 9:02:18 AM #18:	I wouldn't pay money for it again (I gifted my copy to a friend), but someday I wouldn't mind the opportunity to give the DS version another chance and see if my opinion of it improves. The god-awful retranslation absolutely killed it for me, sucking all the life out of the characters and needlessly switching weapon names over to Final Fantasy equivalents (and before you think me a biased purist, I actually quite liked the retranslation on the GBA FF 6, in spite of such classic handles as Atma and my namesake Master Pug getting unceremoniously dumped into the dustbin of history). I didn't stick with the DS version long enough to make it to the postgame content (which is rumored to be good), but the new side dungeon that has you slogging back and forth between Prehistory and Medieval to build a rope bridge or some shit was the worst kind of tedium, to the point where I dropped that halfway through as well. --- Simple questions deserve long-winded answers that no one will bother to read. <cite>masterpug53 posted [p:914769881] in I just sta...
