Probably, not to entirely contradict my last post but I've heard most of the original Yellow Vest people have had their issues addressed when the government let go of the fuel taxes iirc. Other groups seem to have entirely co-opted the movement.

Probably, not to entirely contradict my last post but I've heard most of the original Yellow Vest people have had their issues addressed when the government let go of the fuel taxes iirc. Other groups seem to have entirely co-opted the movement.

That's actually great because now they can attack other structural issues too.

Our gas prices are around .52 cents per litre, theirs is sitting around $1.64 per litre. Its roughly 3.5 litres to a gallon.

Considering all Ive read about the tax/protests is that theyre poor/middle class families trying to get Macron to take away tax cuts to the wealthy and to help wage stagnation, it suggests it has nothing to do with migrants. Something only youve brought up.
