Create a super power that would make for an interesting story. I'm not saying it has to be balanced in the sense that it 'isn't strong', just balanced in the sense that it is still interesting.

A Really Limited Wish lets you create nearly any type of really limited effect. For example, a Really Limited Wish can do any of the following things.

- You create one object of up to $20 in value that isn't a magic item. The object can be no more than 3 feet in any dimension, and it appears in an unoccupied space you can see on the ground.

- You allow up to two creatures that you can see to remove the effects of nausea, soreness, or bruising.

- You undo a single recent event by affecting the end result. Reality reshapes itself to accommodate the new result. For example, a Really Limited Wish spell could cause a bouncer to let you cut in line, or have a green light stay green for just a few more seconds.

- You might be able to achieve something beyond the scope of the above examples. State your wish as precisely as possible. Fate has great latitude in ruling what occurs in such an instance, the greater the wish, the greater the likelihood that something goes wrong. This spell might simply fail, the effect you desire might only be partly achieved, or you might suffer some unforeseen consequence as a result of how you worded the wish. For example, wishing that work would be shut down for tomorrow due to a snowstorm might end up with your car getting crashed into while it's parked.

You can talk to animals but they all think you're an asshole for humans having a more luxurious life. So they are very difficult to get information from.

You can deal immense damage to your enemy, but whatever damage you deal to the enemy is done to you too.

Another one: Healing ability. You can heal anyone of any disease, but your body gets sicker and frailer the more you heal people.

It turns out who dies isn't random, there is a magic book with the name of who will die next... And what energy they will release when they die due to your powers.

I can eat or drink pretty much anything and have the perfect diet. This would include things like rocks and gasoline to keep the story interesting enough, lol

Hunter x Hunter is all about adding restrictions to powers to make them usable/more powerful. The conditions a power has, the better the results are. There's a character that can create time bombs on people that he touches while saying "bomber", but the way he actually arms the bombs is by telling them how to disarm them (basically tag him).

There's also a villain that can steal powers and seal them into a book for later use, but 1. he has to see the power in action, 2. he has to inquire about it, and receive a response, 3. he has to make them touch the cover of the book, and all requirements must be met within the hour the process begins.

Further restrictions include the fact that he has to have the book open to the page he sealed the power to, the power only works as long as the original owner is alive, and the book must be held in one of his hands, so abilities that need both hands are a no-go.

The ability to mentally see the last three people to touch an object and their interaction with it. If it's the same person interacting with it multiple times you'll only know the name and face of the others who interacted with it but not their interaction.

You can stop time, but it's physically realistic. As in, you stop along with everything else. So you can't see or hear or otherwise perceive anything at all because light and sound are not flowing and the neurons in your brain are not firing electrical signals because they too are subject to time.

This could be interesting, but only with other characters that have time powers too. Otherwise, this is essentially a permanent time freeze.

I like the idea of making things spin. My punchghost would be ZZ Top, and when it strikes things, force is applied to them as if their central axis was a spinning top. Can't, like, make a brick spin out of a brick wall, but a tire will turn, a fan will spin, and a baseball would get a wicked curve.
