I was sick this past week and got some lemon ginger tea for my throat. I found it generally pleasing and kind of want to start drinking tea more often. Anyone got some suggestions for the best kinds of tea?

I don't drink tea regularly but when I do I like spiced apple or blueberry ginseng herbal tea.

I don't understand not putting a fuckton of sugar into your iced tea.

Like if you don't feel the diabetes, then what are you even doing? lol

Earl grey, matcha, rooibos, oolong, chai are good options, especially if you like milk in your tea

Loose leaf is better if you can find it. I recommend an electric kettle + tea infuser balls so you can use loose leaf

its irritating, in the south anywhere you go if you order ice tea its already got sugar in it. got to make it yourself if you dont like sugar.

Go to Starbucks and ask for the "Medicine Ball".

specialkid8 posted...
what's a "medicine ball"?

Glad you asked. It's basically a peach+mint green tea with honey and steamed lemonade. Never tasted it before, but apparently it's very popular.

I literally tried that for the first time after I got out of work Monday. Bit strong but it made me feel a bit better (though I almost always feel better after sbux)

If you want something similar, get their Citrus Defender tea. Again, haven't tried it, but judging by the ingredients, seems like a perfect solution to a cold, cough, or sore throat.

For Black teas I like Darjeeling and Oolong. The brand I like is Twinings.

For Green teas I like Genmaicha and Matcha. The brand I like is Maeda-en.

Hojicha is interesting - a green tea that is roasted. also from Maeda-en.
