its a peppermint schnapps.

Our warehouse has been out of the mini shot sized bottles for a while, and one guy who buys 4-5 every day is cool, he simply gets something else(fireball). this other woman though seemed nice about it at first but today i thought she might have wanted to chop my head off. But since we've been trying to get them in and the warehouse is out, not much I can do.

She even said "well, the store up the road has em!!" and I check and they do have 130 shot sized minis in stock. Its 2.9 miles up the road, if you want it so bad just go there.

I can only imagine the hilarity that will ensue if they run out(since they dont have a magic stock fairy, they just sell less of it and had more in stock in the back than we do) and the warehouse still doesnt have any.

And I know why people buy the shot sized ones even if its not a good deal compared to a 750 bottle or 1.5L bottle. its to control themselves. She bought a 750ml bottle today.

oh well. But the does bring me back to my original point. Who the fuck likes peppermint schnapps so much they buy it every day? Yes, I know these people have drinking problems, so I know why they buy alcohol every day, but peppermint schnapps. every single day ever? what the....?

I always thought it was rumple mints.

I once spent time at a bar where the local cheap shot was "Jaquins blackberry brandy". Basically, everyone would buy everyone else a round of it so by the end of the night, you would have had 5-8 shots.

Is that considered a spirit? I thought it was a syrup mix, or blend. I always took spirits to be Smirnoff Ice or similar. Maybe I learned something here.

regardless 50% ABV is higher than most drinks. Some bourbons and scotches are higher, the 151 rum, and everclear is about all we sell thats higher

You don't sell absinthe? That is around 65% I believe.

Wigle "abesnt minded" absinthe at 62.5

and Grande Absente which might be at a staggering 69% if thats the version my state has.

I forgot about absinthe. Okay so there are a handful of things higher than 50, but 50 is pretty high still for what I see. other states might carry a better selection of bottom barrel "fuck you" liqour. I dont know what it would be called but imagine something akin to mad dog 20/20 but 50+% alcohol and chemical flavor.
