Bizarre coincidences are fun. Recently, there was a news story in my town about a reckless FedEx driver who got caught. He was contracted to a company and his dispatcher (and the person responsible for auditing his behavior) worked with some friends of mine, so I got to hear about it from them. The story doesn't end there: said dispatcher was the wife of my coworker in a totally unrelated workplace and he wouldn't shut up about it. Small goddamn world. Reconciling the two accounts of this incident was a fun mental exercise.

TC, something happened to me last Thursday when I was driving home. I had a couple of miles to go - I looked up and saw a glowing orange object in the sky, to the east! It was moving very irregularly. Suddenly there was intense light all around me, and when I came to, I was home. What do you think happened to me?

Walking around in my new neighborhood when I first moved here and this old black dude calls me a nasty mutha fucka. It was totally random and weird because I was dressed in nice clothes, clean shaven with a fresh haircut, and had showered very recently. I looked behind me to see if someone else was there, but it was just he and I. I laughed and kept walking trying to figure it out and decided he was either crazy, racist (there are virtually no white people around here), or maybe I missed a bluetooth earpiece and he was on the phone.

About two blocks later I became violently ill all of a sudden and just started vomiting uncontrollably in the gutter. Some chick comes out of a nearby store saying, That's fucking nasty. I started laughing as I thought back to the old guy and I wondered if he was psychic.

Around 19 years ago me and some friends went out into the woods to smoke and hang out. We came to this one spot on the trail where there was just a ring of fire, surrounding this big rock. We have no idea where it came from or why it was there.
