Maroon 5 is in a maroon mood as they are SCRAMBLING to find artists to guest perform with them at the Super Bowl Halftime show as critics now say it's the LEAST wanted gig after Rihanna backed out because the NFL's treatment of Colin Kaepernick and the kneeling controversy!!

With less than 2 months to go for Super Bowl LIII, the NFL is yet to officially announce an artist for the show that is watched by more than 100 million people nationwide

Adam Levine who's already in massive controversy after his controversial Voice judging when he favoured one artist over another during an elimination says he's still going to be the headline for the show despite a massive petition asking him to resign..

Adam however cannot find other acts to go on stage with them because "no one wants to be associated with the NFL" thanks to the controversy

The NFL offered it to Rihanna but she quickly declined them because she supports Kaepernick. CBS really wanted her to be there in Atlanta but she gave them the finger after what the NFL did to the kneeling stance and banned it from players doing it

Maroon 5 then tried to get Cardi B who raps on their track Girls Like You but a source said she too has backed out as she was going back and forth of wheteher to do it but ultimately said No.

12 other artists they tried to get but none have agreed to it including Mary J Blige

They are now trying to reach out to Andre 3000 from Outkast, Usher, Lauryn Hill and Nicki Minaj

Maroon 5 also faced backlash when reports of their performance were publishedd as people felt the NFL should have hired artists in Atlanta considering they were in the capital of black music such as Migos, Lil Yachty and Lil Baby.

The Super Bowl is also a tough gig because it's UNPAID but does have a massive viewing audience and is supposed to garner artist exposure

Do you think The Super Bowl made a huge mistake in caving to Trump's demands to stop the kneeling?

Im positive that there are infinite artists out there that would LOVE to play at the Super Bowl.
They are just only asking like 10 people.

Ironic, sports are suppose to be a means to distract the populace from political issues.

Also, who's surprised they didn't ask somebody who named himself after a type of boat.

Who cares? The halftime show is when everybody gets up to use the bathroom anyway.

There couldn't be more wrong with this. The NFL sucks. The kneeling thing, for as little as I know, is retar'ed. The talent is weak. And whose fool ass idea was it to say they are in the 'capital of black music'? Why would that make the least bit of sense without being called racist from someone?

I say everything involved needs to go away. I'll certainly welcome my Sun night cartoons instead of having silly football preempt it.

The money the NFL already lost over this (mostly from advertisers) could have actually gone to helping against the very things Kaepernick was kneeling for
