JustinMeme 12/12/18 7:34:10 PM #13:	most of the gen 2 dex was designed around the same time as the gen 1 dex or very shortly afterwards. Gen 1 at the time was supposed to have 50 more pokemon in it (that were all gen 2) but they couldn't pull it off. On the other end of the spectrum, XY had probably the best Pokedex in the series(450 Pokemon!), but was pretty meh.
