I cut through a big portion of my finger on a job(cut myself from the nail down toward the knuckle in the skin-flapping-off kind of way) and just bandaged the hell out of it. They told me to bandage it and keep it clean, looked at it for about all of 15 seconds, and billed me 600 dollars because they fucked up putting my insurance info in. Healthcare in america is a fucking nightmare even for simple shit. I did that at work a few months ago too, it was still pouring blood an hour and a half later so I went to urgent care and they put a pressure bandage on that I had to wear for 72 hours. Sure the El cheapo clinic that only charges me 20 bucks a visit but I went. Thank God I did. After the second visit I was told all I had to do was change my diet and i wouldn't need any medication for it.
