If so, which book(s), and what was your opinion of it/them?

I have read through a few different translations of the Bible, and I own another translation that I have not read yet.

Read em all. Liked them a lot. Lots of interesting history. Proverbs and Pslams are great. I especially liked Isaiah and Jeremiah. And the New Testament of course.

Read the entire shebang. It's most definitely helped me become an atheist once I reached the age of reason.

I've been through the bible, koran, and book of mormon for some reason.

Anyone know where I get OT3 without paying $50000?

All of the New Testament and about a quarter of the Old Testament. Ecclesiastes and Job are particularly interesting. Titus and Colossians are interesting in the NT.

Couple different versions cover-to-cover. Being the only open atheist in a Catholic high-school I had my beliefs questioned a lot. Had to know what I was talking about.

The Gnostic gospels are infinitely more interesting than anything in the bible. But if I had to pick my favorite book it'd have to be Revelations. I find the direct parallels (near plagarism in some cases) between it and the idea of Ragnarok/other "apocalypse" stories very interesting.

A proper appreciation of Ecclesiastes should also include study of Job and Proverbs. When all three are taken together, there is so much to learn about God and the human condition.

For people who want evidence of the historical accuracy of the Bible's predictions, I recommend Daniel: there, you will find multiple historical prophecies that came true in later ages.

It is reflective of how God wants us to interpret the Bible, I would say.

Never read anything beyond the first couple of paragraphs in a hotel.

I'm not religious but I intend to read it someday. It's part of history and has influenced so much.
