Lemme know which far right politicians and lawmakers are standing in front of the UN and proposing Orwellian nightmares

No one here is standing in front of the UN and proposing Orwellian nightmares. Theway TC presented this video, you could be excused for believing these speakers are doing so on behalf of the UN or some delegation. But instead it's a right winger talking about a proposal in incredibly biased fashion.

TC should have made that clearer, but then, so should the video.

That's good. I didn't watch the entire video but yeah, it was framed in such a way that it seemed like a presentation at the UN itself.

To make a comparison, pretend you knew nothing about US politics, and this topic was a video of Bernie Sanders standing in front of an official-looking background and describing the GOP healthcare bill with the title "US government looking to kill tens of thousands of its own people."

That's basically what this topic is. It relies on people not recognizing the speaker and taking them at their word as to the impacts of legislation they oppose.

All of the politicians supporting these types of laws need to be given the death penalty or life in prison.

If only you were this passionate about the far right.

You literally didn't bat an eyelash about the far left influenced totalitarianism the UN is pushing here so really have no business getting on his case.

I mean does it really surprise you that Solar_Crimson is a radical leftist?

Not even remotely. I still get irked by that level of hypocrisy though. Like, get some self awareness guy.

thank you for explaining it. i figured it wasn't as ridiculous as the way the topic framed it.

You don't really spend any time around common working class or poor GOP voters do you?

I live in Chicago so no. And even if I did I wouldn't let my personal experiences change what is true about the population at a broader level, because that would be completely silly.

The majority of conservatives are not against "brown people coming to America" or whatever other reductive horse shit the left has come up with. That's just a leftist hot take designed to suppress criticism by dog-whistling about racism since they know that doing that is an effective way to get people afraid to talk about things.

Again, we deport and block a lot of Europeans from coming or staying here too. If you were right then that would not be the case.

That's pretty much what I thought.
Lower income and working class white voters make up the largest part (these groups also encompass the evangelical community) of the GOP base. The vast majority of them know nothing about European immigrants because they aren't being dog whistled to acknowledge them. I live and work with these people. They do not want non-whites coming into the country period. They know they can't stop legal ones from coming and "taking our fucking jobs" but they damn well jerk off to the thought of machine guns mounted on the border to kill anyone trying to come in illegally. Yet at the same time when asked if they would be ok with Canadians sneaking in they oppose it but the vehemence, zealotry, and desire for violence just isn't there. Stop being dishonest about it, that's all I ask. I'm not talking about you, your stance has reason and nuance, I'm talking about your party's base.

Eh, the GOP base is more middle class; low-income people typically aren't voters.

https://www.themaven.net/theresurgent/contributors/here-s-what-2018-exit-polls-tell-us-about-republican-voters-R5fumuwQAkOyq7EGpRrmMw/
Low-income voters typically vote Democrat, but Republicans won voters who earned above $50,000 annually by double-digit margins in 2014. In 2016, Republicans eked out a victory in the $50-100,000 range by only three points. Voters who earned more split almost equally between the two parties. This year, Democrats won the $50-100,000 category while Republicans won voters who earned more than $100,000.

Even in the primaries, Trump support, like the rest of GOP support, came primarily from people making >$50k. Working class, perhaps, but not low-income.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/monkey-cage/wp/2017/06/05/its-time-to-bust-the-myth-most-trump-voters-were-not-working-class/?noredirect=on
https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/the-mythology-of-trumps-working-class-support/
Trump voters median income exceeded the overall statewide median in all 23 states, sometimes narrowly (as in New Hampshire or Missouri) but sometimes substantially. In Florida, for instance, the median household income for Trump voters was about $70,000, compared with $48,000 for the state as a whole. The differences are usually larger in states with substantial non-white populations, as black and Hispanic voters are overwhelmingly Democratic and tend to have lower incomes. In South Carolina, for example, the median Trump supporter had a household income of $72,000, while the median for Clinton supporters was $39,000.

The working class is the middle class antifar, we've been conditioned to use the term middle class in it's place. A socialist such as yourself should know that.

Migration without checks cause disease to spread, terrorist/criminal movement becomes easier, difficult to track people, can devastate economies, etc.
