Movie had absolutely no point. The highlight to me was the moms shower scene and that's literally because I was watching with my girlfriend and right before that scene I randomly blurted out "I wonder what she looks like naked"

Hahaha, pretty much the same thing happened to me.

But yeah, it was one of those "bored, let's pick a movie to watch at random" things. Sometimes you find a hidden gem, most of the time it ends up being something like this.

It had okay build-up to something, but they threw it all away on a garbage ending.

And yeah, most Netflix original movies are bad. I've watched a lot from 2017 and 2018 and only a few really good ones.

Yeah it felt incredibly pointless lol.

Those kind of endings have been done better elsewhere. In this it just sorta happens and that's it.

What made the ending so dumb for me is that the killer catches up to the dude despite him supposedly being this Olympic level runner.

He did take a breather by the river, IIRC. What makes less sense is the fact that he didn't freeze to death even though he was wet and out in the snow all night.
