I use it for everything I use Google for.

Just about 1/5 of the time I have to switch to Google because I can't find what I want on DDG and it usually loads up stuff that's like months old first.

I've tried switching before but the search results never seem to be quite as good. I guess google's putting all that spying on me to use somehow at least in terms of improving search results

Yeah it's not like they're keeping your search results only to manipulate you. Sometimes you just get better searches. Most search engines simply won't have the resources to be as good as Google

google can get you through a masters degree (alongside your university library)

Unless the government fixed it or Google dropped it there was a way they could use Google. Elgoog just everything on Google pages itself would be backwards.

I use DDG... And Goolge, and Bing, and a few others. Plus a bunch of my top sites. I can search any or all of them with a single gesture.



This particular browser is mostly used for porn or things you can't talk about on gamefaqs, so that's what's whited out here. But my main browser has all of my normal search sites on it.

As for tracking, I don't care that much. At least not enough to do anything major about it that would limit my ease of use or comfort.

It just worked, I changed one of the settings (unchecked use tab zoom) and it worked.

I really like that Vivaldi's upper bar changes color depending on what website you're on, but I just can't get the zooming right. I know it doesn't seem like a big deal but Vivaldi doesn't have 67% and that's what I'm used to. So it's still Firefox for me until they fix that.
