And said books being out of touch by decades upon decades. OwlRammer 11/25/18 5:05:55 PM #22:	alot of schools suck at teaching how to write and also the kids suck at writing in general in high school, I had an english teacher who was really good and actually taught us how to write but people still didn't pay attention and did everything wrong. Then the next essay we had to do, he even wrote the first paragraph for everyone and did it as a class to show how it should be done, so he tells everyone to write it down and use that as the intro, everyone does, then come the day it's due... Pretty much everyone except me and like 3 other people did everything completely wrong. There were people that put like 10 line breaks between the title and the first paragraph and had the title in like size 20 font, some people that centered the paper, some people that did it single spaced, and alot of people used the same exact paper that they turned in too (teacher found out because they all had the same words with just a few changed, and the same exact mistakes in the same exact spots). He got really mad when he was done grading them and did a yelling speech about it lol The paper I turned in I didn't think was that great, but it got a B+ and he wrote that it was the best paper in the class.
