well it won't end square, that much is known

They said there is a short hole (95 yards I think) that they will play over and over if there is a tie.

I don't know. Without seeing the other hole its hard to image that it would be better than 18 to replay. At least with a par 5 and water in play you have some interesting possibilities.

exciting finish. I thought my bankroll was toast when tiger got that chip in off of the green there..didnt think Phil was going to be able to come back from that

final thoughts....during the front 9, a lot of people on twitter were complaining in general, calling it boring..criticizing the idea of phil vs tiger. Apparently there were problems with the ppv providers and they made the event free and as the match came to a end more the same people who shit on the idea started to enjoy it.

some people saying the final few holes are staged of course...ppl in general who dont understand golf

of course it would have been nice to see more smack talk and side bets, but its Phil and Tiger....the best we could have hoped from them was some swearing lol..but im open to these 1 on 1 matchups to take place more often...like for instance i'd like to see justin thomas vs patrick reed or something, i think that would be a compelling matchup. obviously it doesnt have the same marquee value but i think they could be nice niche events.

yeah it was great, kept me entertained. the action definitely picked up back 9, i loved it, But thats where you find the vocal minority, on the internet and complaining.
