It preoccupies my mind a lot and it would help me out in some ways. I got my first one this year, it wound up on my upper arm because it just fit/looked better there, and the bottom of it is visible only with my shortest sleeves. If you wouldn't want to cover them and you know it can affect your career it's really up to you.
