It's because their wives, sisters, and daughters will never be affected by it. Affluent white women will always have access to safe abortion.

You know who will be affected by it? Minorities. People living in poverty. The kind of people who are easier to control when they're weighed down by children they can't afford.

Why is it a dumb opinion.

Abortion is killing of a fetus at any point, so when exactly does a fetus become a human being and the killing becomes actual murder? There's no clear cut answer, so some will say "at the first heartbeat" or something like that and others will say at conception.

No sane person thinks abortion is OK at any point of the pregnancy.

AFAIK the law says there's a point in the third trimester where you can't get an abortion anymore and you have to go through with the pregnancy.

Even if that's not the law, I would hope that if the due date is tomorrow you would be against an abortion.

It's not really a gray area as far as the law is concerned, nor should it be. Abortion shouldn't occur after 24 weeks, because at that point the fetus could reasonably survive. If it is viable, it shouldn't be aborted without there being a compelling reason(the mother's life is seriously threatened).

But yes, you're right. It isn't something that should happen late term.
