Professors don't care about those anyways. I took a course where the professor was reviewed very poorly, and in sometime during the first week he had pulled the page up on the projector, told the class that everything written was true, and then he mocked the people that were whining. He even had a sideshow prepped that was a story of a student whining about his grades.

Stay away from those professors

They have no insight.

Wouldn't the police greatly improve their image if they didn't react like a bully given free pass to do whatever they want every time a random bigot calls them?

If a bigoted "teacher" calls the cops on some kid for resting her feet on a chair without causing any disturbance, couldn't the cops just tell the "teacher" "Ma'am, this is not really something you call the police for. That student may need to get disciplined, but not by us, try calling the principal please" and leaving?

Instead their reaction is "HURR DURR! U CALL COPS ON GIRL, HULK SMASH GIRL!". (I know there was no actual smashing, BTW, but they did escort her out, and there WOULD have been smashing had she resisted).

What happens when the cops are called on someone because that someone laughed or even sneezed during class HULK SMASH too? It sounds silly, but again, apparently even having your feet on the chair is HULK SMASH worthy for these guys.

Police exist to keep the peace, not promote idealistic world views. They also absolutely do exactly what youre complaining they dont. A lot.

The girl was causing a problem in class and needed to be separated from that environment to avoid escalation quickly and quietly. It was an incredibly stupid situation and I hope the university looks into it, but faulting campus security for doing their job is silly. It isnt their job to debate whether it would be fair to accuse her of trespassing, because thats at the professors discretion.

It literally doesnt matter. The prof wanted her gone and involved campus security. Inappropriately and unnecessarily, but thats at the universitys discretion.
