Let's look at margins. Trump won by very, very narrow margins in a number of swing states. Most of which flipped hard blue these midterms. America has become disillusioned and rejects Trump's fake MAGA agenda for what it is.

Who cares? He's already a winner for making it this far. Trump could resign tomorrow and he'd still have achieved a position that less than .00001 percent of all US Americans, since the establishment of the nation, can claim. Hell, he should resign because I don't think he ever really wanted the position anyway and he could easily hang out at some beach resort on the other side of the world.

i am much less concerned about what conservative citizens will do

and much more concerned about what they will not do if trump tries to ignore the result of the election and hold on to power, in violation of the constitution

i tend to think most american conservatives don't really give a shit about the constitution and just want to protect their personal, individual way of life (and their invested wealth)

for such a person, giving in to fascism is incredibly easy.
